Used day cab trucks for sale
A day cab is a tractor without a sleeper berth, built for regional and local work where the driver is home at night. Day cabs are a smaller part of the Charger Truck Sales inventory than sleepers, so the units below change often. The list is pulled live from our inventory.
Like everything on our lot, each day cab is DOT-inspected and PM-serviced before sale, with service history available on request.

When a day cab beats a sleeper
For port and rail drayage, regional distribution around the GTA, and short-haul runs between nearby cities, a day cab is the more practical choice. The shorter wheelbase is easier to manoeuvre in tight yards and city streets, and the lighter tractor leaves more of the gross weight for the load.
If your lanes regularly push you into overnight stays, a sleeper will pay for itself instead. See our sleeper truck page.
If nothing in stock fits
Day cab stock is limited, so it is worth telling the sales team what you need: the make, engine, transmission and budget. They can let you know when a matching unit arrives. You can also get pre-approved for financing now so you are ready to move when it does.
Frequently asked questions
What is a day cab used for?
Day cabs are used for regional and local hauling (drayage, distribution and short runs between cities) where the driver returns home each night and doesn’t need a sleeper berth.
Why are there only a few day cabs listed?
Most of our inventory is sleeper trucks, so day cab stock is limited. The list on this page is live. Contact the sales team with the spec you want and they can tell you when one arrives.
Do you finance day cabs?
Yes. In-house financing on approved credit covers day cabs as well as sleepers, with decisions in as little as 24 hours.
Why don’t you list prices online?
Every unit is listed as “Contact for price.” Call 1-905-491-1996 or use the quote form on any listing and a sales consultant will give you current pricing, along with a payment estimate if you plan to finance.
